Data Processing
When you are in receipt of your completed questionnaires, it can be a daunting task deciding upon how to process the information. If your parish is relatively small (100 or so households) it can often make sense to keep the data processing in-house, however steering groups of larger parishes may well need to outsource the work to a third party. The latter approach has additional benefits, as data processed via an unconnected and unbiased third party can add statistical credibility and allay the fears of the inevitable doubters in the community.
We provide a full data entry, collation and statistical presentation service. We often work with commercial organisations collating and reporting the responses to customer and staff surveys, and our service to parishes is essentially a discounted version of this. We are very flexible in the level of analysis we undertake for steering groups; some will only want the tick box answers entered and collated, others will require a full statistical report with verbatim comment appendices.
